Chilly! Went for run 4 of the program. Today the intervals got longer (sad pants, haha). Now I am jogging 1:30 and walking (briskly) 2:00 minutes. The workout takes a total of 30 minutes including the 5 minute warm up and 5 minute cool down. Hubby and doggie went for the run/walk today. They had to listen to me sing such things as I’ve Had the Time of My Life and Blurred Lines (giggling) but he didn’t complain (out loud). Pretty soon I’m going to have to transition to the treadmill at the gym or office. It was 36 degrees with a slight wind tonight, BurgerMeister MeisterBurger!
Forgot to tell about a win in my book yesterday! My work team asked me to walk to the popcorn
shop with them, I went for the quick walk, but turned down the fresh popped
popcorn. Success! Let me tell you this popcorn shop is amazing
and I have a weakness for popcorn, a love affair really. This place has any kind of fresh popcorn you
can imagine, cheese, caramel, Oreo, turtle, popcorn balls, popcorn cake…. anyways,
I stayed on plan, small victories!
I am tracking my foods, water, and exercise daily. I have to say I was super hungry today. I went home for lunch and brought some veggies and veggie dip back to the office for snacking. I was stahhhhhhhrrrrvvvviiiinggg when I got home from work – but (because of my procrastination) I had to go to the grocery store and then came home and cooked a delicious taco salad, yum! Family was happy. After dinner went and picked a kiddo up from a school activity and then went out for my workout.
I like the extra calories I get with working out; it helps
me feel like I am not being restricted on my eating plan (I like to have dessert
if possible).
Time for SOA; love this show and only two episodes left this
season! Enjoy your night!
