On the road again

Well here I am!  I haven't posted since December.  So much has happened.  Some good some bad,  some I'll talk about some I won't, some today, some later on.

Health-wise what is up?!

So I got down to a low weight in June - I'd lost about 22 lbs.  I found that running and strength training were a huge help to losing the lbs and inches.

My fave part is I have a Fitbit!  I am in love with it.  I love that it tracks my steps, sleep, exercise, etc.  I have it synced with my MyFitnessPal (the options for food entries are so much better - and I have friends and family on MFP so I don't want to lose that).  I'm proud of my MFP streak - I've logged in for 181 days straight.

I bought a Camelbak water bottle and I love it, the water seems to go so much faster, I think I like the straw, lol - I know I'm a dork.  It's red which goes along with my Husker addiction.

My husband bought me a Nike GPS watch and I'm getting used to using it.  It is easier to use than the other running watch I have, but both are nice.

I have gained back about 12 lbs, so I am going back to what works.  I have restarted C25K, I just finished week 1.  I am going to try to push it, maybe combine weeks, because I am running my first 5K in November, and I want to be able to run the whole thing!

The first week of May I ran my first 5K distance around my neighborhood - no stopping!  This was the best and most proud feeling I've had in a long time.

So what are my goals?

I want to try to meal prep - I haven't started yet, maybe next Sunday (need to have time to research menu, buy groceries, and cook - I find Saturdays and Sundays work best for this).

I want to drink at least 8 cups of water per day (anyone else find that the more water they drink, the more thirsty they get?).

I want to stay within my calorie goal (currently 1200 calories, and I can eat more if I work out more).

I want to complete my C25K plan, run a 5K no stopping, and include strength training in my workouts.  I would like to workout at minimum 3 times per week.

I want to eventually run a 10K as my next longest distance accomplishment.

I want to get down 22 more lbs.  I could be at my initial goal weight by Christmas.

So much more to say and write but I need to get to bed!
